If you have the military equivalent of a CDL, you have a spot at the DOT
You can find all of the jobs for former military truck drivers in one easy place — even if you're not 21. The Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is currently accepting applications for its pilot program, permitting 18 to 20-year-olds with the U.S. military equivalent of a commercial driver's license, to operate large trucks in interstate commerce. Generally, only individuals 21 years old or older are permitted to operate these vehicles on interstates. To make things easier, FMCSA put all of the job openings in one place — on the Under 21 Military Drivers Job Opportunities website.
