 Murphy releases $500K for Hillsborough road project

Gov. Phil Murphy has released $500,000 in state funds to begin construction on the Brown Avenue Extension from Route 206 to Roycefield Road. The money was among $235 million of appropriations in the state budget that Murphy held in reserve by executive order. The final $121 million of reserved funds was unfrozen following the release of the December 2019 Revenue Report by the state treasurer. more
