It Sure Looks Like Amazon Is Bringing a Grocery Store to DC
from Washington Business Journal
Amazon.com Inc. is a monster of a company. The store it's bringing to 14th Street NW? That's a "small grocer." D.C. issued a permit to build out an 8,041-square-foot brick-and-mortar Amazon store at the Liz, the recently delivered mixed-use project at 1701 14th St. NW. The Washington Business Journal first reported in October that a lease had been signed, but Amazon has yet to publicly acknowledge it.
