Call for Concepts for EMS Community

The National EMS Quality Alliance (NEMSQA), in collaboration with the Florida Department of Health Division of Emergency Preparedness and Community Support, is facilitating a national Call for Measure Concepts for the Feasible, Actionable, Impactful, Relevant (F.A.I.R.) EMS Measurement Project. This project, funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), intends to develop rural-relevant quality measures for the EMS community.

More information, including a link to the online Call for Concepts Survey, can accessed on the NEMSQA website. The Call for Concepts Survey will remain open until Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

The purpose of this Call for Measure Concepts is to collect ideas for new quality measures that will allow agencies to analyze data and improve their quality of patient care. Some examples of quality measure concepts include: obtaining pediatric weight in kilograms, assessing injured patients for pain, administration of beta agonist for pediatric asthma, and effectiveness of pain management for injured patients. Please submit as many concepts as you like. more
