Sinking oil prices are breathing new life into an old argument, for hydrogen. The lightest, most abundant element on Earth emits zero emissions and is lauded by some environmentalists who wish it would replace gasoline in the transportation sector, the largest U.S. emitter of greenhouse gases blamed for climate change.
