GKI Has Potential to Transform Global Economy, Society
from Geospatial World
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is changing our world. Led by emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, the 4IR or the "Digital Age" will see huge amounts of data being collected every minute by innumerable sensors on the ground, beneath it and in the air. To turn this data into knowledge, which can be used for societal and economic development, there is a need for a systematic framework, and that's where the Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure (GKI) comes in.
