Hawaii moving forward with COVID-19 testing program despite resistance
from Travel Pulse
Hawaii’s previously announced pre-travel COVID-19 testing program is being met with resistance as local officials voice concerns over possible loopholes that could lead to another coronavirus outbreak, according to The Associated Press. The state’s testing program is scheduled to launch on October 15 and will allow Hawaii-bound travellers who provide negative virus test results within 72 hours of arrival to avoid the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
