The 7.67-carat type-IIa fancy intense pinkish-orange diamond ring is believed to be the largest internally flawless diamond of this pinkish-orange color graded by the Gemological Institute of America to date. More Court rejects Tiffany's appeal on eBay ruling IDEX Share ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A U.S. court of appeals on April 1 upheld a lower court's ruling that eBay cannot be held liable for trademark infringement, meaning it is not responsible for the sale of counterfeit Tiffany & Co. items on its Web site. Tiffany sued eBay in 2004 after notifying the online retailer that 73 percent of a random sample of supposed Tiffany silver jewelry offered on the site was counterfeit. Tiffany sought a ruling that would require eBay to remove counterfeits from its site, which it says made up the majority of the Tiffany jewelry items posted for sale on eBay. More |
