My meeting with the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and with the Consul General
On Monday Sept. 29, Dr. Farzanna Haffizulla, AMWA President, was invited to attend a special gala event that celebrated the 38th anniversary of the acquisition of republic status for her native country, Trinidad & Tobago. Dr. Haffizulla met with Consul General Dr. Anil Ramnanan and she was privileged to meet with the honorable Prime Minister, Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Dr. Roselyn Payne Epps, M.D., was the first African American President of AMWA and one who dedicated her life and work to the organization. She will be greatly missed.
