APSP Georgia Chapter starts local WAVE Network
|
   |
APSP
APSP's Georgia Chapter just started a WAVE Network. The Georgia WAVE Network is headed by Mark Thompson of Absolute Pool & Spa Care, Nate Smith of Splash Pool Management and Ben White of Pool Builders Supply. This group will have up to three networking events per year which will include three 45-minute seminars followed by a social networking event. The first WAVE event was held last November and had approximately 50 attendees. The event centered around goal setting and gave attendees tips and techniques for identifying and setting their own long term goals. The social portion of the event took attendees to the Andretti Speedway where they were able to participate in indoor racing while making invaluable connections.
Next Meeting:
Their next WAVE event takes place on February 16. The session topic will focus on industry basics such as learning more about salt generators and electrical issues and will touch on how employees can help build their companies social media presence using imagery, sharing and posting comments. For more information, email Mark Thompson.
