For over four years, APSP Director of Standards Adoption and Promotion, Susan Hilaski has worked diligently behind the scenes to support PHTA's Recreational Water Quality Committee (RWQC). Through Susan's persistence and the RWQC member's passion and commitment to the industry great things continue to unfold. During the RWQC's California meeting, many projects were put into play for the Committee's 2019-2020 year.
Highlights of that meeting included:
- Appointment of key Committee members including: Dr. Joe Laurino as Chairman, Periodic Products; Dr. Roy Vore, Bio-Lab Inc. – A KIK Custom Products Company as a Voting Alternate; Greg Garrett, Applied Materials Technologies, Inc. ads Education Sub-Committee Chair; and John Weber, Bio-Lab Inc. – A KIK Custom Products Company, as Presentation Sub-Committee Chair. You'll also see several key Committee members presenting The Impact of Disinfection Byproducts and Combined Chlorine on Air and Water Quality at the 16th World Aquatic Health Conference this October where they plan to hold their last face-to-face meeting of the year.
