On April 19-20, the APSP Energy Efficiency Coalition went back to Capitol Hill to talk to members of Congress about energy efficient pool pumps and motors. This year, with the new administration, key areas of discussion circled around tax reform as well as the importance of the Energy Star program, which includes pool pumps. APSP federal lobbyist Carl Chidlow, Winning Strategies Washington, set up a busy couple of days of meetings where coalition members were able to speak to Congressional offices to ensure pools and spas are not left out of the energy and tax incentive debate.
