APSP University offers service education at PSP Expo

Your next chance to take in-person APSP University service education programs is this October at the 2018 International Pool| Spa | Patio™ (PSP Expo). APSP University will offer the CST Certified Pool & Spa Service Technician course, the CMS Certified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist course and the CHTT Certified Pool & Spa Hot Tub Technician course. Those that successfully complete the course will be able to sit for the exam at a local PSI testing center in Las Vegas, in a local PSI testing center in your area or on-site during the PSP Expo. To test at the PSP Expo, you must submit this application by Oct. 12. Don't forget! If you want to take the CSP Certified Pool & Spa Professional exam at this year's PSP Expo, you can. Water Balance Indexes
There are several water balance indexes that are being used as tools to help predict whether pool water will deposit or dissolve calcium carbonate; or in other words, whether water tends toward scale forming or aggressive. These water balance indexes used by the swimming pool/spa industry are not guides for proper sanitizing or for human health and safety issues. Instead, they are an indication of calcium carbonate solubility and its effect on pool surfaces and equipment.
