Formed in 2014, the APSP Water Conservation Coalition has been in the process of working toward obtaining WaterSense designation through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for Automatic Covers that meet minimum water conservation standards. Recently, Congressman Paul Tonko (NY-20) visited Latham Pool Products, Inc., a member of the coalition whose Latham, New York, facility is within the Congressman's district. Read more about the visit here. Previously, another member of the coalition, Automatic Pool Covers, Inc., hosted Congresswoman Brooks (IN-5) at their facility in Westfield, Indiana, which is located in her district. These visits highlight the economic footprint our industry has within certain Congressional districts at the same time providing a Congressional office an opportunity to learn more about how these products save water and protect the environment. For more information, email Jennifer Hatfield.
