Overtime regulations struck down
|
   |
APSP
On Aug. 31, a federal judge in Texas struck down a rule from the Department of Labor that would have extended overtime pay to more than 4 million workers. The judge wrote that the agency improperly looked at salaries instead of job descriptions when determining whether a worker should be eligible for overtime pay. For additional information, click here.
APSP had previously provided input to our members on how to comply with this rule, but this ruling means these regulations will not go into effect.
For more information, email Jennifer Hatfield.
