APSP National is hosting the one day Train the Trainer course this March 7 at the Alexandria, Virginia headquarters. This 1-day workshop gives you the practical platform skills and confidence you need to succeed while putting the latest trends and techniques at your fingertips. Whether you've been training for a while or never stepped onto a platform before, this workshop will show you how to become a facilitator of learning, not just a presenter. You must take this workshop to be eligible to teach future APSP University courses. If you would like to teach APSP programs you must hold either the CBP or CSP certification designation and complete this course. Download the application. At the 2017 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo, The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals launched the PPSO Professional Pool & Spa Operator course, the industry's new premier program for commercial swimming pool operators, managers, engineers, service company professionals, health officials and facility owners. During the Nov. 2 session titled "Introducing the Professional Pool & Spa Operator Course," attendees learned how they can take or teach the PPSO course. (Read the Press Release).

| Steven Clayton passes away

We're saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Steven Clayson, employee of APSP Member Gunn Sales, on Oct. 21. Steven, 29, worked as a Sales Manager for Gunn Sales. A visitation/viewing was held on Friday, Oct. 27. Read his full obituary here. Those wishing to help the family through this difficult time, have been asked to contribute here to his medical and memorial expense fund.
