The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously selected industry veteran Lawrence S. Caniglia to serve as its new President & CEO. For nearly 14 years, Mr. Caniglia has served as Executive Director of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association, providing benefits and services to nearly 850-member companies, while also directing activities of the NESPA Foundation. Earlier this year, he announced his plans to step down at NESPA to pursue the next phase of his association-focused career.

Congratulations APSP member Dave Warren of Total Tech Pools & Leisure in Oakville, Ontario, Canada! He was the recipient of the Pool & Hot Tub Council (PHTCC) of Canada's 2017 Industry Achievement Award. This award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and growth of the pool and hot tub industry in Canada. For over 25 years, he has been involved in the pool and hot tub industry and is the past president and current secretary of the PHTCC. He is highly active with industry Standards and education curriculum and instruction. TD Bank's Retail Experience Index revealed trends about shoppers, including their research patterns and reliance on social media.
