From Aug. 17: Major news outlets around the world contacted APSP last week about the green diving pool at the Olympics. Print and TV journalists wanted to know what was going on with the green pool. Everyone else in the world wanted to know too! But according to APSP's authoritative voice on recreational water quality, the RWQ Committee, the answer is all speculative without testing.

From Sept. 7: By 2017, the adoption of the ISPSC will be mandatory in eight states. The latest states to adopt the ISPSC are Washington and West Virginia. In January 2017, the ISPSC will be also be in effect statewide in Georgia. New local adoptions have taken place in Colorado (Longmont), Mississippi (Pearl River Valley-Water Supply District) and in Texas (Andrews, Cleveland and Kileen).

The project was for Cutting Edge Pools, which tapped WhiteClouds to show a client what to expect from a customized pool design for their Ogden, Utah, home. The goal of the model was to display the finished product — prior to actual construction.

From July 13: The Y-40 is not the place to go for a leisurely splash. At 131 feet deep, it's been awarded a Guinness World Record for the deepest pool for diving that's ever been built. That would be the equivalent of a 14-storey building towering out of the ground.
