GBA Spring Conference Was Huge Success

Thank you to all who helped plan, present, sponsor, and participate in GBA’s 2022 Spring Conference held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Hotel on April 7-9, 2022. With near record numbers of attendees both live and virtual, this event exceeded expectations and emphasized through collaboration, we can all THINK BIG and ACT BIGGER.

This conference highlighted the real super heroes of society: the geoprofessionals that make the world safer for all. Highlights included the first Committees in Concert, Business Roundtables, and keynotes from industry leading experts. It also featured unique networking celebrations which included costumed super heroes, a cruise of the San Diego Harbor, and GBA’s Annual Recognition and Awards Banquet.

This issue of GBA NEWSlog highlights some of the events that took place in San Diego.

Each Spring, during our conference we recognize those that have contributed to GBA in a significant way.  During the 2022 Spring Conference, awards were given to firms and individuals who exhibited extraordinary support and meritorious performance during our 2021–2022 fiscal year.
