Gary DeJidas, PE, MBA Celebrates 50 Years with GAI Consultants - GAI Consultants

National engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firm GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) today announced that its Chairman and CEO Gary M. DeJidas, PE, MBA recently celebrated 50 years of continuous service with the company. At an event hosted by GAI on May 2, 2022, Orlando District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan presented Gary with a proclamation declaring May 15, 2022, to be “Gary DeJidas Day” in Orlando, FL. Also in attendance was Officer Eddie Rosado of the Orlando Police department, along with GAI Board of Directors and staff members.

“I have enjoyed spending my entire professional career at GAI and experiencing the many challenges and successes we have had over the years,” said Gary DeJidas. “This is a great company with a lot of wonderful employees that work together to make GAI a very special place.”

CEO Update


John Wood Group PLC (‘Wood or ‘the Company’) announces that Robin Watson, Chief Executive, has advised the Board of his intention to retire as Chief Executive. The process to appoint his successor will now commence and Robin will remain in his role until the successful candidate is in place.

Robin was appointed Chief Executive in January 2016, having previously joined the Board in January 2013 as CEO of Wood’s PSN division. He also served as Chief Operating Officer. Under Robin’s leadership, the Company has transformed into a leader in consulting and engineering across the global energy market.


CEC Relocates Corporate Headquarters

CEC’s Pittsburgh office and corporate headquarters have moved to a new location!

The new address is:

All office and employee phone numbers remain the same.

The 120,000-square-foot building will provide the infrastructure necessary to build on CEC’s growth. We will continue to grow in our new space and are excited to join the Cherrington Corporate Center family.

And to our old headquarters at 333 Baldwin Road: Thanks for the memories! We were there for nearly a quarter-century. Many people who moved into that building with us back then are still with CEC today. We experienced so much growth there and enjoyed countless good times.

Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is pleased to appoint Dan Etheredge, MBA, as the new Vice President, Latin America. With his strong client reputation for managing complex environmental and engineering projects across different regions and cultures, Dan will focus on identifying strategic opportunities to improve KCB’s positioning across Latin America.

Dan has managed KCB’s South American offices since 2007 and spearheaded several initiatives to increase the company’s regional presence, including opening an office in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 2013, and satellite offices in Ecuador and Panama in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Atlas Awarded Major Environmental Capital Construction Support Service Contract

Atlas Technical Consultants, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATCX) (“Atlas” or the “Company”), a leading Infrastructure and Environmental services provider, announced today that it is one of several firms selected to provide Environmental Capital Construction Support services for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (Metro) major transit capital projects, other capital projects, or Metro Property improvements. The bench task order contract is valued at $85.90 million with $82.65 million for a three-year term, with an additional one-year option of $1.65 million and a $1.60 million option for the second year. Atlas currently expects to book at least $12 million related to this contract, with the potential for additional bookings as work is released and approved by the customer over the contract term.
