AST
The spring 2018 OPO-specific reports (OSRs) will be released according to SRTR’s previously anticipated timeline. The secure preview will occur on 7/16/18, and the public release will occur on 8/9/2018. However, the release of the program-specific reports (PSRs) is postponed at this time.
As soon as the updated information becomes available, SRTR will announce the PSR release timeline. At that time, SRTR will also offer updated SAFs for researchers who received a SAF release from September 2017, December 2017, March 2018, or June 2018.
This missing information also potentially affects the 2017 Annual Data Report (ADR) development. The anticipated publication date is not available at this time, but we will alert the public as soon as a date is available.

Despite the burdensome symptoms experienced by dialysis patients, no drug or device has been approved by the FDA that improves any patient reported outcome. To address this challenge, the "Prioritizing Symptoms of ESRD Patients for Developing Therapeutic Interventions" Project was initiated in 2016. The project has two phases. The first phase of the project confirmed and prioritized the symptoms experienced by patients with kidney failure. The second phase used that information to convene a workshop with industry representatives, patients and health care professionals, and academia representatives and stakeholders from outside the nephrology space to determine if any existing products could address patient symptoms and improve patient quality of life.
ASN
Present your late-breaking research to 13,000 kidney professionals at the world's premier nephrology meeting. ASN is now accepting late-breaking clinical trial submissions online through Wednesday, September 5 (2:00 p.m. EDT). Submissions should discuss randomized Phase II and III trials that will have significant impact on clinical practice.

The human major histocompatibility complex is a family of genes that encodes HLAs, which have a crucial role in defence against foreign pathogens and immune surveillance of tumours. In the context of transplantation, HLA molecules are polymorphic antigens that comprise an immunodominant alloreactive trigger for the immune response, resulting in rejection. Remarkable advances in knowledge and technology in the field of immunogenetics have considerably enhanced the safety of transplantation.

Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a relatively common finding in patients undergoing liver transplantation. Although the recommendation to prevent its recurrence is anticoagulation during 3-6 months, this is controversial. The aim of our study was to determine the efficacy of oral anticoagulants (OAC) in the prophylaxis of recurrent PVT after liver transplantation.
