    Kinetics of Viral Load and Antibody Response in Relation to COVID-19 Severity
    The Journal of Clinical Investigation
    The SARS-CoV-2 is the causative agent for COVID-19 pneumonia. Little is known about the kinetics, tissue distribution, cross-reactivity and neutralization antibody response in COVID61 19 patients. Two groups of RT-PCR confirmed COVID-19 patients were enrolled in this study, including 12 severe patients in ICUs who needed mechanical ventilation and 11 mild patients in isolation wards.

    Imminent Death Donation (IDD) is described as living organ donation prior to a planned withdrawal of life‐sustaining care in an imminently dying patient. Although IDD was ethically justified by UNOS, the concept remains controversial due to presumed lack of public support. The aim of this study was to evaluate the public's attitudes towards IDD.

    Immunosuppression in Donation after Circulatory Determination of Death Liver Transplantation: Can Induction Modify Graft Survival?

    Recipients of donation after circulatory determination of death (DCDD) liver transplants historically have an increased risk of graft failure. Antibody induction (AI) with anti‐thymocyte globulin (ATG) or anti‐IL2 receptor (anti‐IL‐2R) immunotherapy may decrease the incidence of graft failure by mitigating ischemia reperfusion injury.
