Purdue University
Swift Fuels, Purdue University and the Purdue Research Foundation have entered into a collaborative research agreement to work to develop and commercialize new fuel-related technologies.
Swift Fuels, based in the Purdue Research Park in West Lafayette, Indiana, develops proprietary techniques to enhance the value of fuels, which it then licenses to industrial oil and gas companies. The agreement calls for faculty and researchers at Purdue's Davidson School of Chemical Engineering to work with Swift Fuels on the technologies.

A developer of gene editing-based therapies launched today with $58.5 million in Series A financing, will license CRISPR patents from the Broad Institute and Harvard University, and partner with Beam Therapeutics, to develop cardiovascular treatments based on editing the adult human genome.

Sustainable energy research will be accelerated though a partnership between Stony Brook University and the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) that will support, foster and accelerate cutting-edge research being conducted in Stony Brook's Research & Development Park. A memorandum of understanding signed by both parties will also work to secure additional funding for projects and assess the regional and global commercial potential of clean energy strategies that contribute to the U.S. transition to a low-carbon economy.
