The United Technical Center’s Welding and Drafting classes have partnered with Johnson Elementary School to provide bicycle racks for students.
The racks will be provided for students who ride their bikes to school with nowhere to park them, according to a press release from UTC.
Johnson Elementary fifth-grade teacher Bethany Kulchock initially reached out to UTC Welding instructor Eric Younkins with a request for UTC to design and create two bicycle racks, the release said.
