The art in welding
Chino Valley Review
According to Webster's dictionary welding is "to unite metal parts by applying heat and sometimes pressure." That is what Paulden, Arizona's Vivian Wells has been doing for many years and creating beautiful pieces of metal art. "At the age of 10, I would watch my father weld, and I knew that one day that is what I wanted to do," Wells said. Although Vivian has always been into art, everything from pastels, to water colors, and acrylics, she didn't take her first welding class until 1990 at Yavapai College.
