The gas utility tariffs for September 2018 are in. You can compare these rates to your own prices. Gas tariffs were generally up, as can be seen in the chart below, for Eversource, CNG and SCG, compared to last month. These utility tariffs below are expressed in heating oil gallon equivalents, and so present gas rates on a British thermal unit (Btu) to Btu equivalent basis with heating oil.

CEMA will be holding OSHA/DOT hazmat training in October. These will be Awareness certification on Oct. 3 and Oct. 16, and Operations re-certification on Oct. 4 and 17. These seminars train employees, who may come into contact with a hazardous material such as petroleum products, on the latest requirements and regulations concerning hazardous materials, including (but not limited to) hazardous communications, recognizing and identifying hazardous materials, emergency response actions, accident prevention, and taking defensive actions in case of a spill.
