State moves to dismiss CEMA's natural gas expansion lawsuit
CEMA
This week, the week of Dec. 8, the State of Connecticut made a motion in Hartford Superior court to dismiss CEMA’s natural gas expansion lawsuit that was filed in October. The State is claiming that the court does not have jurisdiction over this matter and is asking that it be dismissed. The state also contends that the gas expansion plan is a private action being taken by the utilities, therefore an environmental impact evaluation is not needed.
