I need help in speaking with someone who has experience in working with customers at swim centers who has seizures while in the water. Aquatics Staff address the issue but the customer is a regular and continues to come to the pool, each time they experience a seizure. How have aquatic professionals addressed this issue?

'Parking for a Purpose' art project aims to raise money for city parks

To complement Artown, the city of Reno's Parking for a Purpose project will collect donations for Parks, Recreation and Community Services maintenance. The project officially kicks off when artist Michael Lucido will paint a parking meter at Moana Springs Recreation Complex. Three other meters are currently installed, one in Barbara Bennett Park and two in Wingfield Park, and will be decorated by artists in the coming weeks.

Ohio city, humane society team up for Dog Days of Summer

Ohio's Ross County Humane Society is teaming up with the city for a fundraising event at the municipal swimming pool that will feature activities geared toward dogs and their owners. The event, known as the Dog Days of Summer, kicks off with a 1K doggie dash around the park and will be followed by several other planned activities, including an opportunity for dogs to enjoy the pool.

Grant Award Process — Focus Groups
The After School Division is seeking interested individuals for its Grant Award Process focus groups. Members of the focus groups will provide input on their experience with the grant award process for after school programs. Topics for discussion may include information disseminated by ASD regarding available funding, the application process, award notification, and improvement of the grant process.
