Publicize your work at the 2015 GWA Symposium
GWA
The GWA book fair is an opportunity for members to display their works to other members for book and product reviews. Each participating author who registers is entitled to one-half of a 3-foot by 6-foot table space to display his/her work. The book fair will be open during all exhibit hours. Space is limited, so book fair participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

PAR participates in Dallas project

On April 7, the GWA Foundation's Plant A Row for the Hungry program joined the celebration to dedicate the West Dallas La Bajada Urban Youth Farm. PAR participated with students from local schools, Dallas Mayor Michael Rawlings, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the National Gardening Association, ScottsMiracle-Gro and the Franklin Park Conservatory as part of the GRO1000. La Bajada Urban Youth Farm will be created from a 4.5-acre vacant lot that will be transformed into an education and recreation zone for area youth and their families.

Showrooming is just a "genteel form of shoplifting" author David Nicholls told an audience at the London Book Fair Digital Minds Conference.
Giving a keynote speech at the digital event ahead of the fair's official start, Nicholls spoke of the importance of physical bookshops, and criticized the practice of discovering a title in a bookshop only to buy it online instead, known as showrooming.
