    Some Cleveland Hopkins cab drivers refuse to drive with Gay Games signage

    Some drivers of the zone-based taxis operating out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport have notified their companies they don't want to drive the cabs for religious reasons, citing rooftop placards that are advertising the upcoming Gay Games.

    Ethiopian government cancels anti-gay rally

    A planned anti-gay rally in Ethiopia has been cancelled by the government, according to officials. In addition, a plan by the legislature to add gay sex to a list of crimes ineligible for presidential pardons has been dropped, according to Redwan Hussein, an Ethiopian government spokesman.

    San Francisco set for summer disruption as runways close

    Travelers using San Francisco International Airport this summer are set to experience delays and frustration as runways are taken out of action for essential upgrades. Two of the airport's four runways will be closed during the busiest period of the year for the main Bay Area airport, but the works are part of a federally mandated project that will improve safety. When the runways close May 17, the daily throughput of traffic at the airport will be reduced with the remaining two runways having to cope with all arrivals and departures until the work is completed in September.
