Ruby Street in Highland Park, Los Angeles, used to be a Suffragette House, a Civil Rights meeting place and a Progressive church. When Michael Yarinsky Studio rebranded as the Office of Tangible Space earlier this year, Michael Yarinsky and Kelley Perumbeti wanted to choose a name that spoke to the physical, spatial, and emotional experience of interior space, something they feel is often lost in the age of Instagram.

“We believe the purpose of both design and designer is to guide. To provoke, to clarify, to move people emotionally and functionally forward. Whether through big transformations or everyday tasks, design should make people and business work smarter.”
