May Luncheon recap
On May 23, Dr. David Bach, a neuroscientist and the Founder and President of The Platypus Institute, gave ISAE a presentation on how to rewire your brain for optimal performance. Dr. Bach’s presentation focused on how we can use cutting-edge breakthroughs in neuroscience to dramatically improve our effectiveness and our lives. His central theme was when you use neuroscience to identify and rewire targeted unconscious behavior patterns, you can massively improve your performance without the use of willpower. DOL Overtime Rule Program on Facebook Live
ASAE is pleased to invite you to a special Power of A Facebook Live and Periscope session on the Administration’s final changes to the DOL Overtime Rule. Under the new rule, no employee who has a guaranteed salary of less than $47,476 will qualify as exempt under the executive, administrative, or professional exemptions.
This session will bring together Julia Judish, a leading human resources lawyer at Pillsbury LLC, and ASAE Chief Administrative Officer Bob Skelton, to help associations better understand the final changes to the rule and how they can prepare for the Dec. 1, 2016 effective date. Join us virtually through Facebook Live and Periscope on Thursday, June 23, at 2:30 p.m. to discuss this issue. Submit your questions beforehand or ask them live. Go here for more details.

However, outside of member-recruit-a-member programs, it's difficult to coordinate a word-of-mouth marketing plan.

But despite all that, we avoid conflict like the plague.

Organizations often leap to decisions about learning technologies based on assumptions and a general desire simply to do something to make it feel like they are keeping up with the times. There’s no way around the fact the really understanding your situation requires work.
