Regional Seminar Series 'Building the Experience' coming to Webinar

The NAC Regional Seminar Series "Building the Experience" will be offered in a two-part webinar on Jan. 22 and Feb. 17, 2015. The webinar format is ideal for those who can't get away to attend a live seminar or for those whose travel budget is limited. Each segment is expected to last three hours. Registration information will be available on www.naconline.org within the next few days. The NAC Regional Seminar Series is designed for entry-level managers, supervisors and those interested in concessions management. A perfect precursor to NAC's Concession Manager Certification Course.

GMO labeling: Colorado voters reject food measure; Maui voters approve
NPR
In the latest bids for states to compel companies to label foods that contain genetically modified ingredients, Colorado voters decided the issue in their state. Proposition 105, was defeated by a roughly 2-1 margin recently. Oregon voters also considered a measure, but it is still too close to call — the no vote leading the yes vote by two percentage points with more than 80 percent of the vote counted.
