On Monday, The Church Network sent an email to its members regarding Hurricane Harvey, expressing concern for all affected, especially our members and our members’ churches. Preachers can communicate more effectively if they use more than one form of media to share the message of the Word of God. However, this will all grind to a halt without someone to control the presentation during the church service.

Ryan Duncan writes, "One of my favorite Bible stories appears in Luke 5, where Jesus heals a paralyzed man. Whenever I read this story, I catch a glimmer of what God created the Church to be. These men saw their friend needed help, so they picked him up and carried him through town to meet Jesus. When they couldn’t get inside the building, they literally climbed onto the roof, made a hole, and lowered their friend into the room."
