Live and Recorded Learning at Your Fingertips!

Did you know that your Convention registration offers you complimentary access to 70 sessions that will be recorded in Indianapolis? Not only can you listen to sessions that you were sorry to miss but you can continue your learning post-Convention. To get you geared up for Convention, we are sharing an archived recording from last year’s Convention. In this session, Dina Brulles, Director of Gifted Education at Paradise Valley Unified School District in Phoenix, Arizona, shares an approach to providing culturally and linguistically diverse middle schools students with a culturally rich and highly engaging learning environment that embraces, encourages, and challenges gifted students of diverse populations. At NAGC’s 2013 Convention Dina Brulles will offer a similar session entitled, Enfranchising, Educating, and Empowering G/T Adolescents from Culturally Diverse Populations. Sample instructional units, schedules, and examples for using data to examine program development and achievement will be shared. On October 2, Dina Brulles and Scott Peters from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will present a WOW on Demystifying Ability Grouping: Boosting Achievement among All Students.
