PaintCare Pilot Program in Oregon Marks its First Year with Record Numbers
In the first 12 months of the
program, PaintCare established 95 collection sites consisting of both municipal and retail outlets and collected approximately 469,665 gallons of paint, with the latex paint going for recycling into new paint as well as other products and the alkyd going for fuel blending.

Court of Appeals Upholds Lower Court Ruling Consistent with ACA Amicus Arguments
As part of its formal Amicus Program, ACA entered an amicus brief in this key appeals case where prohibitively expensive medical monitoring was ordered by the trial court for alleged exposure to toxic materials and/or emissions, but where there is no reasonable basis for these
expenses by companies since the potential risk is so very remote and unwarranted. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit decision supports ACA's amicus brief arguments.
