Aviation Week
United Airlines had some good news for the MRO market in its fourth-quarter earnings, revealing that it was resuming heavy maintenance and engine overhaul work in preparation for a vaccine-led recovery.

A year of aircraft transitions?
Aviation Week
Although overall MRO demand is expected to remain depressed this year, one bright spot may be an uptick in lease-end and transition checks and modifications as aircraft are rejected by lessees and move between operators.
This is currently in evidence in Shannon, Ireland, where Norwegian is flying its 787s for checks ahead of return to lessors as the airline pursues a restructuring plan to cut all long-haul and widebody flying.

Would you fly more if it cost less?
General Aviation News
Learning to fly was a challenge. That was true for Orville and Wilbur, Bob Hoover, Sean Tucker, and you. It's a fact of life.
Developing the skill to guide a heavier than air machine off the ground, control it with confidence and precision in flight, then put it back on the ground in one piece does not come easily to any of us.
If you're reading this, the odds are good you've accepted that challenge. Congratulations.
