PAMA restructures in 2014

To all PAMA members,

The Board of Directors thanks everyone for the many emails of support during this challenging time as we reorganize and recalibrate. We appreciate that change is often uncomfortable but we want to assure you that the Board Leadership is very actively working toward rebuilding the organization and making it the industry voice it should rightfully be.

We are in the process of redesigning the website and it should be accomplished shortly. The two things we would like from our membership is to get your comments as to what your vision is for PAMA national's role in our organization and Chapter representation on the Board. We are in a position to shape PAMA's future and ask your input to make it the organization we want for the future. Please send your ideas to Board member David Lombardo and thank you in advance for your ongoing support.

AON boss urges Nigeria to invest in aircraft maintenance facility
Nogie Meggison, chairman of Airline Operators of Nigeria, has said that until Nigeria establishes an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in the country the aviation sector will not optimize the inherent potentials and benefits of the sector. Meggison said merely setting up a national carrier alone will not step up the development of the sector, as aircraft MROs have the capacity to create thousands of jobs and retain huge sums of money in the country that indigenous carriers spent on the repairs of their aircraft overseas.
