Pro Star Aviation achieves FAA Class IV rating

Pro Star Aviation, an innovative aerospace modification center, announced it has successfully achieved its FAA Class IV rating. The new rating allows Pro Star to perform maintenance on aircraft over 12,500 GTOW. Adding a new classification of aircraft increases Pro Star’s capabilities for ON-THE-FLY maintenance and additional services in-house.

Designed for a variety of aircraft from piston planes and turboprops to business jets, the light is awaiting PMA approval.
"This is an LED that lasts much longer than the factory installed incandescent lights that burn out quickly," says Robi Lorik, president and CEO of PWI.

Honda Aircraft unveils 2600 'concept' jet

Honda Aircraft lifted the curtain and unveiled a "concept" of its next aircraft — a larger light jet with a transcontinental range of 2,625 nm and with a midsize-jet cabin that seats up to 11 occupants — on Tuesday morning at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas. A mockup of the fuselage with stub wings and engines on pylons is on display at Honda Aircraft's BACE exhibit (Booth 3167).

Textron Aviation unveils Citation M2 Gen2, XLS Gen2

Continuing a refreshment cycle of its legacy aircraft that began last year with the King Air 360 and 260 and in February with the Citation CJ4 Gen2, Textron Aviation announced interior upgrades to the M2 and XLS+ light and midsize twinjets at NBAA-BACE. "We're trying to accelerate upgrading all existing products," Textron Aviation president and CEO Ron Draper told AIN.
