One of two brothers wanted in the fatal shooting of Jesse Winchester during a drug deal in November 2011 in Lynden, Wash., has been taken into custody by officers of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Arizona, according to the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office. Agents at the DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales, Ariz., contacted the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office after identifying and arresting Oscar Rodriguez on his outstanding warrant. Rodriguez, who was 15 at the time of the shooting, likely will face charges of second-degree murder and first-degree assault. More

Phoenix police arrested a convicted criminal accused of attacking bail bondsmen with his vehicle on two separate occasions. Officers were called to an office building for an unknown disturbance. They arrived to discover that a bail bondsman and his partner had gone to the location after learning that Thomas Morgan, 57, would be in the area. More

Officials: Gunman acted alone in Sikh temple shootings

A discharged Army veteran and racist advocate of white power acted alone when he attacked a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee, Wis., and killed six people, officials said. At a news conference in Wisconsin, local and federal officials formally named the shooter as Wade Michael Page, 40, who served more than six years in the Army until he was separated with a less than honorable discharge. A 34-year-old Vermont man who authorities said used a large farm tractor like a monster truck and drove over seven police vehicles - then tried to run over two officers who pursued him - was ordered held on $50,000 bail. Orleans County sheriffs said Roger Pion of Newport was angry over a recent arrest for resisting arrest and marijuana possession when he drove the tractor into the parking lot of the sheriff's department and rolled it multiple times across cruisers and a transport van parked in the lot. More
