RV shipments rise 13 percent in 2012

The RV industry had a better year than initially forecast in 2012. Shipments of all types of RVs were up 13.2 percent for the year when compared to 2011. A total of 285,749 RVs were shipped from manufacturers to retailers, according to RVIA. More

RV industry closed 2012 with big gains over 2011

The recreation vehicle industry sold 285,749 units in 2012, growing by 13.2 percent and making it the industry's best year since 2008. Both towable and motorhome sales grew. The only category to see a decline in 2012 compared to 2011 was folding camping trailers, which make up about 3.9 percent of the overall RV market. More

A Baltimore couple who met during the 2001 Super Bowl, which featured their beloved Baltimore Ravens against the New York Giants, is getting married at this year's Super Bowl, which once again features the Ravens, this time paired against the San Francisco 49ers. Jim Pellegrini and Daisy Sudano know it'll be expensive to get a hotel room in New Orleans at this point, so they're thinking of going in an RV. More
