Sure, hopping on an airplane may be quicker, but traveling the country in an RV has plenty going for it, says Jeff Daniels, one of the stars of the 2006 feature film “RV.” “You have great control of where you want to go or when you want to leave,” he said in a recent interview. “My wife and I are out together with our dogs in the RV. The Lee County RV industry was hard hit in 2008, but Lowry’s company started to see business pick up in the third quarter of 2009, even though about half of Florida's RV dealers closed that year, he said. "The herd was thinned," he said. "What happened was there was a lot of growth in the industry, and the industry has always been give or take." More
