The Society of Dermatology SkinCare Specialists has arranged to have members attending the 9th Annual Meeting, Feb. 7-9, 2011, to proctor the National Certification Prep Class—for FREE! This joint collaboration between the National Coalition of Estheticians, Manufacturers/Distributors & Associations (NCEA) is in an ongoing effort to raise the standards for skin care licensure in this country. All current SDSS members attending the annual meeting can bring their completed Candidate Application to the Prep Class and be given their Authorization-to-Test (ATT) to sit for their national exam within 90 days. "This is a great opportunity for the membership and will show that estheticians working in dermatology practices want to achieve the highest standards available for their profession," stated Susanne S. Warfield, executive director. For more information on the NCEA Certified credential, visit www.NCEACertified.tv. More
