It was announced at the 2016 Annual Meeting that Sigma Xi will not hold an Annual Meeting in 2017. Currently, a research-oriented event is planned for this year; the Student Research Conference will be held in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina; and the Board of Directors and delegate business meetings will be held electronically in autumn. Plans for the 2018 Annual Meeting will be announced in the coming weeks.

The therapeutic cancer vaccine employs nanodiscs loaded with tumor neoantigens, which are unique mutations found in tumor cells.
