Cisco recently completed a global study, which included input from more than 1,000 C-suite and line of business executives, and their findings challenge us all to view cybersecurity investment differently. According to their white paper, in this era of digital disruption, companies that make cybersecurity a vital foundation of their digital growth strategies are uniquely positioned to take advantage of new innovation and growth opportunities. In other words, Cisco asserts that cybersecurity investment is actually an enabler of innovation, growth, and competitive advantage.
SIM's National Cybersecurity SIG, in partnership with SIM's Capital Area Chapter, is proud to invite all interested senior IT leaders to a free interactive webinar, which is being held next Thursday, Feb. 15 (7 p.m. EST, 4 p.m. PST). During the webinar, Joel Barbier, one of the primary authors of the white paper, will lead a discussion about their findings. More information about the event and speaker can be found on the event's flyer and on the SIG's website.
SIM membership is not required for this free interactive webinar, so all SIM members are encouraged to invite their non-member colleagues to register, actively participate, and experience the value of SIM and SIG membership.
Register now, before it's too late. Space is limited and spots are going fast.
