IMSH 2021 Theme
We look forward to connecting the vibrance of our host city New Orleans to our theme, Simulation: Bringing Learning to Life. Through this theme, we will explore the complexities of healthcare and the relationships that exist within it, focusing on the human connection that is often under-valued. Healthcare simulation is experiential, interactive, and humanistic. Those concepts provide tools through which we can rely on each other to push the profession forward.
Covid-19: How Simulation Programs Responded
In addition, we recognize the sweeping and challenging impacts simulation programs have, and will continue to face, as the result of the current Covid-19 pandemic. Simulation programs around the globe have responded to the pandemic in inspiring and innovative ways, finding solutions, supporting caregivers, and retooling how we provide high quality simulation programming. Tell us your stories and share the innovations you’ve employed to respond to the crisis.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT - ALLOW AMPLE TIME TO ADD CO-PRESENTERS START EARLY!
The deadline for all submissions is Friday, June 5, 2020. Be sure to start your submissions early enough to allow time for all co-presenters to create and update their SSH accounts. This is a requirement for all presenters and must be final by the deadline of 5:00 PM Eastern on Friday, June 5, 2020. Submissions incomplete and pending co-presenter information at the deadline will NOT move forward for peer review. ~Kathy Adams
