USPC Festival 2014
The Festival Goldbook is currently online, as well as a list of local hotel offering Pony Club rates and options for offsite layover stabling. Entries open May 1, for both Championships and Festival, and closing date for both is July 1.

New this year, we will be using the Alltech Arena for our Trade Fair, Games and Quiz, with Polocrosse playing in the former polo field in front of the Alltech arena. So no matter what the weather, we will have an air conditioned/dry place to shop, eat and relax.

Quiz will be hosting an International Exchange during Festival Championships, with teams from the U.S., Canada and Australia. In addition, the Quiz Challenge is slated to take place. The Challenge has been sent to all Equestrian Discipline and Breed Associations, 4-H, FFA and other youth groups. We look forward to a fun time for all. So far we have heard from IEA, and British Pony Club Branches in Jamaica and Mexico.

This year Championships is sharing the Kentucky Horse Park with the North American Junior and Young Rider competition. This is a great opportunity for the members of the two largest North American Youth Competitions to share and learn more about both organizations. The Organizers of both are working on plans to encourage opportunities for interactions between the members of both groups.

Because of the weather, I know many people may have had trouble getting in the full number of hunts, so go ahead and fill out partial certificates.
