Grants to Help Associations Support Women's Development
Local and state REALTOR® associations can now apply for the Women’s Council of REALTORS®’ 2022 Supporting Women of Real Estate grants, which help to organize a one-day conference around women’s leadership in real estate. Ten grants of $2,500 each will be awarded, with winners selected in June.

The economic shock hitting the housing market just got bigger

Housing economists are clear: The swift move up in mortgage rates amounts to an economic shock. The bad news for homebuyers? That already big economic shock got even bigger last week. On Thursday, Freddie Mac reported that the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate hit 4.67%. Just one week earlier the rate was at 4.42%. Meanwhile, back in December it was 3.11%.
