A recent study in PLOS One finds that pulsed electromagnetic field therapy can bolster the capacity of energy absorption in diabetic wounds.
The randomized study focused on 111 diabetic rats with 6 mm full-thickness wounds on their hind limbs. There were two PEMF groups with one group receiving daily PEMF at 25 Hz at an intensity of 2 mT and the other group receiving daily PEMF at 10 mT.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of soft and semi-rigid prefabricated insoles on the improvement of pain and quality of life in women with plantar fasciitis.
This study was a randomized clinical trial. A society with 30 women diagnosed with plantar fasciitis by physical and rehabilitation physicians, orthopedic practitioners and other rehabilitation colleagues and referred to an orthopedic clinic of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Absolute recognition of plantar fasciitis was performed by the researcher using Windlass mechanism test.

Glycemic variability — fluctuations in HbA1c level from one visit to another — is significantly associated with foot ulcer healing time in patients with diabetes, according to research from the UK.
Investigators from the University of East Anglia in Norwich retrospectively analyzed data for 172 patients who presented with a diabetic foot ulcer over a two-year period and also had at least three HbA1C assessments within five years of presentation.

The numbers are getting worse and alarmingly so. In 2012, 45.8 percent of physicians reported having at least one burnout symptom. That number is higher than burnout rates for other professions with similar educational backgrounds and career demands. The figure rose in a 2014 follow-up study to a burnout rate of 54.4 percent with job satisfaction rates dropping from 48.5 percent in 2012 to 40.9 percent in 2014.

A customized pedography sensor (Pliance; Novel, Munich, Germany) was inserted into a pedCAT (Curvebeam, Warrington, PA). The aim of this study was to analyze the relative position of the anatomical foot center (FC) and the pedographic center of gravity (COG). The hypothesis was that FC should be a good predictor of mediolateral position of COG but not longitudinal since hindfoot anatomy allows free anteroposterior movement but limited mediolateral movement.
