The end of 2019 is fast approaching. Make sure to renew your membership before Dec. 31, 2019. After Dec. 31, there will be a grace period until Jan. 15 where you can still renew your membership without penalty. Effective Jan. 16, 2019, a non-payment will result in suspension of your membership. If you require assistance in renewing your membership, please contact PGO at info@pgo.ca. The 3rd and final renewal notice will be sent out on Dec. 16, 2019. Please look out for it in your inbox and don’t forget to check your spam/junk folder. Alternatively, you can renew your membership by logging in to PGO’s Member Portal at www.pgo.ca.

The Ministry of Environment and Conservation Parks (MECP) is implementing regulatory changes related to the management of excess construction soil and redevelopment of brownfield sites. Click on this link to read more about the announcement and implementation of the newly amended regulatory package. PGO would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the work of the Environmental Geoscience Subcommittee in this area since 2014. Their work involved putting together submissions for proposed amendments to regulations pertaining to excess soil and management of brownfields.
